The first International Multidisciplinary Conference of the Distance, Open, and eLearning Practitioners’ Association of East Africa (DOLPA-EA) was held on August 26–28, 2025, at Africa Nazarene University in Ongata Rongai, Kenya, in cooperation with DOLPAEA.
The conference’s theme was Innovations for Sustainable Development in a Changing World.
The theme encourages researchers from a range of disciplines to look into innovative and sustainable approaches to global concerns. It provides a platform for collaboration amongst disciplines such as science, technology, social sciences, the arts, business, and education in order to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue on issues including health fairness, digital transformation, climate change, and economic resilience.
